Shawn Mendes Reveals Why He Needs Serious Mental Help
In a rather sad turn of events, Shawn Mendes canceled his world tour and cited mental health problems as the reason for the cancellation! But what did he reveal about needing serious mental help? Did Camila Cabello have anything to do with it? And why were followers saying that it was all an excuse for low ticket sales?
After postponing shows from his Wonder tour in early July, Shawn Mendes resorted to canceling the rest of his world tour to focus on his mental health. He actually released a statement on his social media accounts stating that he needs to heal and will take time off for the same. His statement mirrored a similar one he made when he announced he was postponing the first three weeks of the tour. He had previously written, “This breaks my heart to have to say this, but unfortunately I’m going to have to postpone the next three weeks of shows through Uncasville, CT until further notice. I’ve been touring since I was 15 and to be honest it’s always been difficult to be on the road away from friends and family. After a few years off the road, I felt like I was ready to dive back in, but that decision was premature and unfortunately, the toll of the road and the pressure has caught up to me and I’ve hit a breaking point.”
