I am a qualified Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist having achieved a Level 5 Diploma in Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy at the London School of Sports Massage, which has been established for over 25 years. I am a passionate believer in the benefits of soft tissue therapy for everyone – whether struggling with aches and pains from sport, a physically demanding or stressful job, or indeed any daily activity. Having spent the first 20 years of my career in the corporate world, I often turned to massage therapy to help with aches and pains through occupational stress or sporting niggles and I’ve always been interested in injury rehabilitation and prevention.
Since switching careers, I’ve never looked back – I know that I want to carry on doing the activities that I do for as long as possible and I want to help others to do that too.
I adopt a wide range of soft tissue techniques to ensure that each treatment is tailored to the each person’s unique needs and I really enjoy working with people of all ages and from all walks of life.
I am continually broadening my experience and I’m also trained in Pregnancy and Post natal massage and Kinesiotaping. I am a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage and registered with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council). Away from work I enjoy mountain biking, hiking and yoga.
