Acupuncture in Chartered
I have been involved in sport both competitively and as a sports physiotherapist for over 18 years. Since graduating as a chartered physiotherapist I have subsequently gained postgraduate qualifications in Joint Manipulations, Sports Therapy and Sports Massage. I have also achieved a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Acupuncture and a Diploma in Tui Na (Chinese Massage). I have recently gained an MSC in lower limb musculo-skeletal studies specializing in lower limb injuries, biomechanics and gait analysis.
I have worked extensively with local rugby teams, professional boxers and martial artists
In addition to traditional physical examination I also use video & gait analysis, using treadmills and on-track/field facilities to diagnose and rectify lower limb and foot biomechanical problems.
I use a fusion of skills incorporating Eastern and Western diagnosis and treatments to offer patients a different take on treating musculo-skeletal injuries.
